Recipe Data: URLs and text you share with Cartful are processed to extract ingredient information. We store recipes and ingredients associated with your account.
Grocery Lists: Lists you create, items you check off, and sharing preferences are stored to provide the service.
Phone Number: If you choose to use SMS features, we store your phone number to associate text messages with your account.

Third-Party Services

Google OAuth: For authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Anthropic: Recipe text is processed using Anthropic's services for ingredient extraction. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Twilio: For SMS functionality. Subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure token-based authentication, and hashed credentials. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
